im a cheapskate when it comes to gifts. this is because I dont have money.
anywho, FAMOUSWATERMELON and friends, I am counting on you and maybe a few of you counting of each other.
My friend too plays EDH. he already has playmat and co, so nothing there. And he doesnt appreciate art very much, so its a no go on prints.
SO! Can we make a reasonably balanced custom EDH commander that revolves around the mechanics of omnath, mana locus (or other ramp) and Brago, King Eternal? they seem like a good combination and vthey're the decks my buddy plays.
at any rate, merry christmas.
That seems insanly broken. Untap all your nonbasics upon etb...and that's at worst.

Well yeah but it's dependent on how many nonbasic lands are on the battlefield. Low nonbasic count = low untap count. Then again... this is EDH, where even mono-colored decks run nonbasics (aside from low-budget brews, and even then there's super-cheap nonbasic lands you can use, e.g. the "benefit" lands from ZEN/BFZ).

: Exile ~. At the beginning of the next end step return it to the battlefield under your control.
~ enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it, where X is the amount of basic lands you control.
