Counter target spell. Destroy target land. ~ deals two damage to each creature. Draw a card.

Think it would be better as a Command type effect like Cryptic Command where you choose two options. Gives me some ideas for some Two-color Commands.

Too restrictive for too little impact. You get Counterspell + Stone Rain + Pyroclasm + Reach Through Mists for 6 mana instead of 8, which balances out. However, you have to jump through some hoops:
1/ You will rarely want to pyro and stone rain in addition to the other two.
2/ More restrictive mana - the four cards above are worth 3UUURR.
3/ What deck wants all those effects and at such costs? Probably a commander thing, but even then UUURRR is super restrictive.
