So I found some cards I made a while back. I'm trying to get some feedback on them. Here is the twenty-second:
Cheap Recall
Sorcery
Cascade, cascade, cascade
Discard all cards in your hand but one.

@Atony1400 That is incorrect. Look at Maelstrom Wanderer to see that his templating on the cascade is right.
Also the wording for the second part would be "Discard all the cards in your hand but one."
To make this more fair, I would phrase it as "Reveal your hand. Discard all non-land cards revealed this way."

Oh, yeah.
I think this thing with Labratory Maniac would be a cool combo.

Put the effect first and you cant spell snare it, right? And it needs a much bigger drawback since it allows you to cast Ancestral Vision + Ancestral Vision + Hypergenesis for 2 mana.
How about:
Cheap Recall
Sorcery
Your lifetotal becomes 3.
Cascade, cascade, cascade.
So basically you get Ancestral Recall + Ancestral Recall + Eureka, but after that you die to a single bolt.

There is no single drawback, even "you lose the game", that would make this balanced.
Cascade spells will always resolve before the original spell, no matter where "cascade" is placed in the text, since cascade triggers when the spell is cast.

personally, not playing any kind of constructed other than EDH, I would love this card. its cool flavour that helps me grab some low cost draw spells, mana rocks, etc.
maybe make the discard an additional cost?

When you cast this spell your lifetotal becomes 3.Cascade, cascade, cascade.

The discard being when it resolves makes much more sense. This way, you have to discard even if you hit a bunch of cantrips or Ancestral Vision type cards.

I like the flavor, but this is too easily abusable. 2 mana is very low, enabling you to cast 0 cost spells like Hypergenesis easier. Also, if you include a single Spell Snare in your deck, you can counter the original spell before it resolves, negating the negative effect.
Too easily broken, perhaps even better than ancestral recall, since for UB, you cast 2 Ancestral Vision and 1 Spell Snare for 6 cards total.
