Emperion Lore- Thran Set Ep. 1

I'm currently in the process of creating a Thran-based set, and I wanted to incorporate one of my favorite cards, Platinum Emperion. I remember when it was spoiled that I wanted some more backstory on it, but was disappointed when it just became a bulk mythic from SoM.
And this set became the perfect place to put it. The Thran were the original artificers, and with their lore very limited, I figured that I could incorporate the Emperion into it. (Note: this is pre-Yawgmoth]] storyline.)
The three Emperions were from the earliest period of Thran industrialization. While Phoenon, the earliest Thran city, was still being built, an unknown mage of an unknown race approached the Thran artificers and gave them the secrets of the powerstones. The artificers used these powerstones to speed up the building of Phoenon, and then the expansion of the empire. After Halcyon was built and the capital moved their, the unknown mage returned and once again procured mysterious artifacts for the Thran, this time a trio of globes. As the Thran artificers began to experiment on the globes, they realized that each one was a pseudo-portal: within them was a region of space where a powerful Emperion resided.
The first globe opened contained the Platinum Emperion. The force of neutrality, it was an unmovable force that ignored the insignificant squabbling around it.
The second globe contained the Transcendent Emperion. The force of stability, it would consciously seek out oppression and repel it.
The last globe they opened was the Cataclysmic Emperion. The force of destruction, it annihilated anything that came against it.
When the Cataclysmic Emperion was released, it turned on the Halcyon artificers, destroying them and their workshop. However, the Transcendent Emperion stopped it before it was able to destroy the rest of the city. For the final time, the mysterious mage appeared and taught the Thran how to control the Emperions. However, he foretold a prophecy that one day, as the Empire became polarized, someone would rise who would harness the Emperions and turn them onto the multiverse. Because of this, the Halcyon artificers created a machine, called The Change Beacon, that would lock the Emperions away and release them into time, until the mysterious mage was able to give them to another deserving Empire.
2nd point of #2, my mistake. :P (Elaborating on the 2nd point of #3, )

The other 2 emperions are not real cards, only Platinum Emperion is a real print.

Ok, well I happen to have an issue with cataclysmic. It basically makes your opponent unable to play. At least make it nonland permanents. at most, they sac 1 nonland permanent per turn. As for the other one, it seems balanced. You have to keep mana open to use its ability, the amount you can stop is equal to how much you want to play too and its 8 mana.

This is a very interesting idea, and I would love to see more love for the Emperion too, but I do have some questions...
1: What are these "regions of space" that the globes link too? Mini planes, or just pocket voids? And the emperions just sorta sat there? Like, they had their powers laying dormant until they were released from there globe?
2: What does "locked away and released into time" mean? Did the "Change Beacon" lock them in their pocket planes? Did it lock them in the fabric of time? How did the platinum emperion end up on mirrodin then? I don't see any empires deserving of the might of the Platinum Emperion.
3: What happened to the globes and the pocket worlds contained within them? It seems only the emperions were banished into time, not the globes. What happens to those globes?
4: What exactly is "The Change Beacon"?
5: Elaborating on the 2nd point of #3, how did the platinum emperion end up on mirrodin? Mirrodin/Argentum/New Phyrexia was not a thing yet, it was just a desolate space floating in the multiverse. Did it just end up there and sat quietly as the world evolved around it?
6: Where did the other 2 emperions go? Obviously whatever restraint that was on Platinum Emperion was broken, because he roams freely around mirrodin. Does that mean there are 2 emperions out there wrecking things up?
7: Having mystery characters isn't fun. You should elaborate on this "mysterious mage", unless you are going for a big reveal later on.
I love that you are also trying to give the Emperion some love. I love the other 2 emperions you made. I think its awesome. Just a few things to iron out and this might be something feasible! Also, I would love to see what you have for the "thran set" already made. :D
