Feldon, Evocation Grandmaster

Surprisingly hard to balance. Thoughts were, starting at and 1 sounds horrible, but he becomes 3 and gets you of any one color immediately back. So he doesn't survive the bolt test, but he's so powerful in many other ways. It'll take forever to get to his -10, but the sheer power you get out of it is insane.

Plus, the immense value you get over time... 3+5+7+9+11 mana before you get to his ultimate. That's 35 mana over 5 turns he earns you. Then you get 15 mana guaranteed during your upkeep that stays with you?

So as poorly designed as he looks, I think he's actually incredibly balanced for what he gives back.

Proofreading tip: You have Falon in the name, Faldon in the typeline, and Feldon in the effect.

As far as it goes mechanically, it's going to take two turns before you can use the second ability. This needs a very hard control shell to work in. It provides mana so you can save your lands and whatever for instants and activated abilities. It's going to take a couple of turns to be better than Gilded Lotus, but then it gets a lot better.

What kind of deck do you envision this going into?
