Ikorian Ape, has evolved so much that he's the main cause for civilizations on Ikoria not lasting long. For a sense of scale, the crystal on his left shoulder is 608 feet tall, about the height of the Space Needle in Seattle. Luckily for humans, he only goes on month-long rampages before sleeping 8 years at a time.

That ability is savage, but this seems like it should be bigger than just a 5/5.

Well, I'd you're setting him on Ikoria, their "civilizations" are canonically called Sanctuaries. So you may want to update the name to reflect that.

What are your thoughts on how the mega trample works? Because I suspect you may have intended it to hit a walker, kill them, roll over to others, kill them and roll over again.

As of now, because you don't specify combat damage, it absolutely would. Suppose your mega monke is a 10/10 and hits an Atraxa walker who is at 4. That additional 6 hits all opponents and all other walkers. Maybe it hits someone who is only at 2. That additional 4 is going to roll over, again, to all opponents and whatever walkers are left. In the right situation, you would push tons of damage out.

Since it is not specified as combat damage, it absolutely would keep rolling over like this until there is nothing left to die, or no lethal damage was dealt.

While on the topic of lethal damage, you say "excess damage" for players? Do you mean if someone is at 5 life and you hit them for 10, that "additional five" is going to now roll over, too?

TypicalTimmy: Oof, good catch. Combat damage it is. And only excess damage to creatures.

Ok, so here is EXACTLY how this guy works. Attack with him, a 5/5 trample, and say that a 2/2 blocks him. He would deal 3 excess damage to either the player or planeswalker he was attacking. But instead, he deals 3 damage to each of your opponents and their Planeswalkers.

And also, since he's so large, how about he's a 10/10 for 10?
