Pestilence Demon is a very nice variation of the original Pestilence, but is is rather expensive, and its ability would also be better in red than in black. Some time ago, I created a red version of that creature, but it still suffered from the problem of being too expensive, so I have no created yet another variation of that card, which I hope is more feasible.

Hellfire Demon Show

First, I reduced the mana cost of this creature by in comparison to pestilence demon, which also entailed reducing its power by 1 as well. I would like to have decreased the mana cost further, but that would also have meant reducing its power and/or toughness even lower, and it needs to have high toughness, as it damages itself with its ability. I also made each instance of a colored mana symbol in both its casting cost and the cost to activate its ability a hybrid mana, to make it easier to use.

What does everyone else say about this card? How well did I do with it?

someone else madde a Pyrohemia version of this too. cant remember the link, but it was a dragon.

make this a demon dragon like Malfegor for meta-flavor? :D

DERPLINGSUPREME: I made a creature called pyrohemic dragon ("pyrohemic" meaning "fire-blooded") some time ago, and it was the response to that card that made me decide to make this one.
