Need help balancing this card, wanted to ask you guys's opinions. Just trying to make a card that will fit my kind of strategy, which is making and swinging with large amounts of goblins. I'm also a big fan of infect, and want to make aggro viable in commander.

Sorry, I tried to upload a picture and it obviously failed.
Marshall, Goblin Swarmlord
{X} {p/r} [p/r]
~ ETB's with Half of X 1/1 goblin creature tokens
Goblins you control have infect.
{p/r} {tap}: Make X 1/1 Goblin creature tokens, where X is the number of poison counters on target opponent.

I would say this card is far too aggressively costed. You'd be getting a 1/3 and a 1/1, both with infect, for , with the ability for many more 1/1s as the game wore on.
You also have to consider the significant amount of tribal synergies goblins have. Skirk Prospector + this guy + any haste enabler would be devastating, as you could constantly create goblins, then sacrifice them and this guy to recast him.
I'd also point out that Infect is not generally the purview of Red--in fact, it's tied with Blue for the least common colour for Infect to be present in.
I would add to the mana cost in addition to the . You might also want to make the infect ability an activated ability until end of turn, possibly with as a requirement.

I feel as though just the line "goblins you control have infect" seems too powerful on its own. To add any way to make more tokens makes it even more busted. Goblins swarm anyway and there are many good goblin lords that make them bigger or hasty or hard to block. It the token generation is somewhat a win-more ability with something that gives mass infect.
As cdkime said, making the infect an activated ability seems a good way to actually give this any balance. I think I would make it
sacrifice an artifact: goblin creatures you control have infect until end of turn.

You seem to have left off the card's text, which makes it a smidge difficult to evaluate. Mind posting your proposed language?
