Bringer of Pox
Creature - Horror
When ~ enters the battlefield, each player loses one life, discards a card, sacrifices a creature and sacrifices a land.
1/2
The correct wording would be: When ~ enters the battlefield, each player loses 1 life, discards a card, sacrifices a creature, then sacrifices a land.
Guys, I swear I'm not trying to make modern pox or anything!

I'm not opposed to it, but I am skeptical. Cards like Fulminator Mage have shown us that value abilities on bodies are quite powerful.

This is just gross. Beating someone with a 1/2 is just humiliating.

Psychatog was very rarely a 1/2 and we both know that lol

It's true you know. Lol
Smallpox has to be one of the most powerful spells in modern that nobody uses. Staple it to a body and maybe somebody would.

I mean, yeah. That's true. Hitting up a bird or something, denying cards, and dropping lands away is powerful. But then what? You need a clock of some kind. Just trying to resolve a bunch of smallpoxes will leave something sneaking through the woodworks. Is there a way that you can opperate under smallpox with less impact than your opponent?

Flagstones of Trokair is a good way to mitigate the tempo loss, but you kind of need a Flagstones and an Urborg, or to wait until turn 3. You can easily make use of the discarded card, and saccing a creature is not a big deal, Unburial Rites a Sun Titan or something.

Did you mean each player will lose one life, discard a card, sacrifice a creature and sacrifice a land.
