What if Zombie decks had a way to deal with pesky life-gain abilities? Behold!
My idea was to create a flash Zombie that prevents opponents from gaining life and harnesses that life into a Zombie token. I made it an enchantment creature because it seems appropriate, and to offset its power by making it easier for the opponent to kill. If the opponent chooses not to gain life, at least it’s a flash blocker with deathtouch. Plus I made it a spirit to make it potentially playable in Esper spirit decks.
A similar card is Opposition Agent , which is way more powerful than the Incarnation. Another similar card is Blacklance Paragon . So the Incarnation is somewhere in between these two cards in power level.
Any comments or suggestions are welcome!
Mcat1999, hehehe ;)
seshiro_of_the_orochi, oooh I like that! With Beacon plus Doublecast or something similar, I can imagine a wave of 20/20, 40/40, 80/80, etc. Zombie Horror tokens flooding the board... O_o

They do have a way to deal with pesky life gain decks; False Cure and in a more permanent state Tainted Remedy or Archfiend of Despair , Everlasting Torment , or Forsaken Wastes . And there's a few more in red.
Life gain is already a pretty poor benefit, do you really need to make it worse?

Hey Tzefick, do I really need to make life gain worse? Yes! ;)
You haven’t played against my wife’s modern angel/cleric lifegain decks...it’s scary how much life she gains with Bishop of Wings and Righteous Valkyrie ... O_o

And you play one of the aforementioned cards or spring for a Leyline of Punishment .
