Lord of the Pit is an iconic card, and has inspired several similar cards, such as Liege of the Pit and Xathrid Demon, but I thought that it would be interesting if there was an aura that turned a creature into a lord of the pit, so here is what I devised.
Infernal Majesty Show
I made the mana cost of this card mirror that of Celestial Mantle, as this card is very heavily black in the way that that card is heavily white. As with the cards that inspired it, it requires careful strategy to properly use, but, as an aura, it could, theoretically, be put on an opponent's creature to hurt them.
What does everyone else think of this card?
Also, I would like to thank whoever devised the custom card tag, except that, when I attempted to use it, it did not work, so I still needed to type out everything manually.
Additionally, there is the much tamer Herald of Torment already.
At 6 mana cost, I would say that giving the creature +7/+7 is not bad. And the sentence "If they cannot, they lose life equal to enchanted creature's power. " is kind of unnecessary. To mirror Big Demon creatures, it should be "If you cannot, tap the enchanted creature and you lose life equal to its power." Finally, "At the beginning of enchanted creature's controller's upkeep" is very long and all it does is that it makes it sort of beneficial to not enchant your own creature, which seems superflous.

Funkydiscogod, Boza, both of those cards are good, but they do not reward their owner for sacrificing a creature (by causing their opponents to lose life) nor punish them for failing to do so (by making them lose life).
Also, the original card did not cause the creature to tap if its controller failed to sacrifice a creature, so I do not wish for mine to do so, either, because that would make the creature useless, in addition causing loss of life.
Furthermore, the long wording for the triggered ability was also used on One Thousand Lashes, so I am not the first player to use it.

To reduce the wording, change it to "Enchant creature you control" and change "enchanted creature's controller's upkeep" to "your upkeep". Additionally, definetely bump the power and toughness bonus of the enchantment to at least 5 to justify the cost.

Boza, I intended for this card to be a black version of celestial mantle, so increasing the bonus to power and toughness would ruin that idea. Also, being able to enchant any creature gives it greater versatility and political applications, such as forcing a player to sacrifice their own creature when they do not have a reliable method for generating creature tokens.
shadow63, lowering the cost would make it cease to be a black version of celestial mantle.

If its meant to be a black mantel why not have it cut your opponents life in half?

shadow63, I cannot believe that I did not think of that; if I do create such a card, it will need to have a different name, because I feel that "infernal majesty" is very appropriate for the effect that this card has. Thank you for that suggestion.

I think 6 mana is a bit much for it
