Way, waaaaaaaay too good. Anything? Any sword, Batterskull, Elbrus, the Binding Blade Flip? Feels totally broken in EDH.

I would recommend either increasing the cost of your creature, or making the tutoring have a mana cost and a discard. This is extremely good for EDH play as it is, and would be borderline broken.

Tack on "Sacrifice that equipment at the next end step" to the end and it's perfect.

Maybe have it as: "Whenever Izanami, Avenging Geisha attacks, you may discard a card with converted mana cost 
. If you do, search you library for an Equipment card with converted mana cost and put it onto the battlefield. If you do, attach it to Izanami, Avenging Geisha. Then shuffle your library." So if you discard something like Mutilate, you have to get an Equipment that costs exactly 4 mana (nothing more, nothing less). This way it forces you to be very specific in what you are discarding to get which Equipment you want to get.
