A few friends of mine are making custom planeswalkers. I decided to join them and I made this card. After making a few changes my friends now agree that it is a well balanced card. Please leave any suggestions below.

His -8 is more of a white effect.

the -8 was a direct copy of "In Garruk's Wake" which is a black card.

The +2 is pretty nuts. A repeatable Rise from the Grave in colors that love creature hate? Damn son. Also, it's fairly limiting considering that if there are no creatures in the grave, it does nothing.

The -4 is fine, but not really in these colors...

And the -8 is sort of... weird and underpowered. I mean, the board should already be sort of clean in a Grixis shell by T8, right? Maybe make it something more like Eternal Dominion to fit blue, or gain control of half the lands sort of thing?

yes, but its rare that black has such unavoidable wraths. You just see it in white more often. Plus, everything I'm seeing on this walker is all black. I don't really see the red or blue. Maybe have the +2 return target creature and give it haste, sac it at the end of the turn. the -4 is decent. Why not give the -8 a Tamiyo, the Moon Sage type of ultimate?

For the +2 ability, I was more focusing on Animate Dead, I figured that since Jaeger is really expensive/specific of mana it would work fine, especially since it requires creatures being in other people's graveyards, I also Nerfed it a little making the creatures i get become enchantments as well, so more stuff could kill it, not just stuff that could destroy creatures. In regards to the -4, i look at it as a blue effect, something similar to Show and Tell, so I think the colors for that effect work fine. In regards to the -8 i consider it a black/red effect, i might consider changing it. I have always been a player that likes playing stuff like Damnation, or Chain Reaction, but i will consider changing the alt.

This card was mostly to help benefit my grixis commander deck that I have,

http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/01-03-15-the-annihilator/

it mostly just nuked and got creatures from graveyards, and it also loved to play stuff for free with Omniscience.

The problem is the +2 will either be too powerful or utterly useless.

Example one: There are a bunch of creatures in the grave. You play Jaeger and you basically get the opponent's army back easily. Way too easily.

Example two: There are no creatures in the grave, meaning that Jaeger is useless.

See the problem?

I don't think i would get the opponents creature back THAT easily. The way i look at it is Jaeger is a 7 mana/specific planeswalker, and Rise of the Dark Realms is a 9 mana card that puts all creatures from all graveayards to the battlefild under your control, by turn 9 i would only have chosen 2 creatures, 3 at best, that is, if i decide not to alt the planeswalker, and the creatures are more easliy killed to top that off. If i do get screwed with no creatures in anyone's graveyard I would either buff it just for the alt, or i will just use the -4 and do some crazy crap. With the type of deck it is made for, if there isn't anything in anyone's graveyard, something went wrong. But i do see your point, and i might change it because of that.

My friend suggested this.

+2 Draw 2 cards, then discard a card.-4 stays the same-8 Destroy all creatures, then return up to three target creature cards from any graveyard onto the battlefield under your control. They are black zombies in addition to their other types.
