There are a lot of charge counter cards but here's the good ones:
Chalice of the Void
Engineered Explosives
Ratchet Bomb
Everflowing Chalice
While it's tempting to make it say "put a +1/+1 counter or a charge counter" I decided that artifacts needs more play without helping affinity.
I also considered it letting you put a charge counter onto any artifact but then mono 
would just use it against Chalice of the Void. Like, you would see it in way more mono lists than Tezzerator lists.

Wow I think this is the first time somebody said they want 4 of a card I designed!
I tried really really hard to fully acknowledge my bias when designing it.

seeing as i have a charge counter deck that is almost entirely colorless, this is the perfect land for me. in terms of balance, i think it wouldn't be too over powered. i mean Coretapper can do it cheaper because its a more fragile card type. Surge Node does it in between but it has a usage limit.
i think it would be fun to make it say "target artifact." instead of saying "target artifact you control". like you said it could put things on an opposing Chalice of the Void. i think it'd only be a 1 of (2 max) in any Red lists that played it. tez lists that were charge counter themed would clearly play 4 as it's a great card for them.

Great card though, I ran an Arcum deck that this would be amazing in.
