Mour-Yang, Patience Personified

6/5 defender because Monks who have trained for a century and waited probably like 6 or 7 turns to finally be cast are total badasses

Love the design. One wording thing: Eminence always also includes "...or on the battlefield..." (compare Arahbo, Roar of the World).

Yeah, I realized that a little bit ago.

Also, he's hella stupidly broken. T3 you get him out and you automatically draw 3 cards and can exile a Sol Ring and a Signet such as Arcane Signet. And if your opponent(s) have Mana Crypt, that can be hit, too.

Maybe he should be something insane like , and then with the advent of ramp he can get out sooner - or just sit back and wait.

Oopsie.

Very cool design and, as you noted, very broken :). As an alternative to increasing his CMC, what do you think about giving him suspend and you get an experience counter every time you remove a time counter from Mour-Yang? I don't think that works with Eminence, but it gives the option to get him out cheap, or be rewarded for your patience with experience counters for when he comes into play.

I might be over-complicating it a bit... and I'm actually not even sure if a commander can have suspend. Well anyway, it's a thought! Fun card as always! :)
