I really don't know if this is overpowered or underpowered. He goes well with D&T (I think, never played that before). What do you guys think?
Thanks for looking!!

KalvinHobbez That said they can still attack (and will certainly kill him, seeing how little loyalty he has) and still kill him with Lightning Bolt or whatever, so it's not at all game winning, just really stalling.
As for the design, I know what you mean. Any ideas on what to change?

noahband as I said above they can still attack and kill him with instants. If you do use his -1, he'll likely last a turn, and will be an overpriced Silence.

Maybe make him cost and make his second ability -2 so they can't use it 2 turns in a row.

IzzetGod This is meant for D&T which is, I believe, is an aggro deck, so a CMC of three would not work.
TehCoopeh Hmm that could definitely work... I'll look into it.
Ziggyra He's bathed in blood, how unholy can you get :)

There's a reason that two drop 'walkers don't exist. Three CMC is as low as you can get without a walker being trashy and cheesy.

His -1 is way too strong. It's not even a sure death sentence. You sit this guy behind a few tokens and you essentially start winning the game. For two mana. That's insane.
It's a mini Time Walk that's repeatable.
You know what would balance it? If it said 'Target opponent can only play spells with a converted mana cost of two or less next turn'. That's not too stifling if you repeat and it's fair for 2 mana.
I'm thinking of Gaddock Teeg type flavour

Is the +1 target opponent or each opponent? Each opponent is much more powerful, even in 1v1 because of things that can restrict targeting. They aren't common, but they are there. Both of them also have different wordings than what you have there.

his -1 is too good. not sure what to do instead, but having 2 full turns of stall is REALLY good. also, I really don't think he should destroy lands.

Alright, so I'm hearing a couple things.
First off, his -1 is too powerful. Would noncreature spells work instead?
Second, that he's too cheap. I could definitely make him and I think that he would still be effective.
ItchiUchiha117 See this is my problem with designing cards. I always think about a single format, the one I usually play, namely modern or legacy. It should definitely be "target opponent".
DERPLINGSUPREME First of all, it's his ult, and you likely will not be to activate it. Second of all, Bloom and Tron and all sorts of ramp decks give the middle finger if you just have the emblem, since land is not a problem for them. Maybe target opponent sacrifices half of his lands with or without the emblem.

My guess on how to balance him out and keep his theme more spaced out is something with:
-Costs 2WW
-+1 is "Until your next turn you gain 1 life for every spell an opponent casts."
--1 can just affect noncreature spells and probably be put at -2 like others said.
--6 Could give you an emblem that says "Opponents can not cast spells during your turn and you have hexproof." or something.
-If you prefer the restriction on lands for an ultimate, maybe it could be "You get an emblem that says 'Opponents lands do not untap during their untap step.'" A bit OP as you slowly cause an opponent to be silenced in spells, but its his ultimate after all.
-Due to boosted up mana cost, he can start at 4 or so.
Probably not much better, but just an idea I have on how to move his concept around.

Turn 2 he comes out and if you decide to kill him by using his -1...you just silenced your opponent for two turns. Depending on the deck you are against this can be basically game winning. I'd say maybe vary with his abilities as well. Planeswalkers usually don't have a very straight forward design, they have versatility in abilities rather than the same concept for each ability. Just my opinion on it.
