After going through the previous suggestions, I came up with this planeswalker. I think it is a bit more balanced then the previous one. Please leave any suggestions below, thanks.

Mmm... Did not saw the previous version, but maybe you should nerf the +2 to something like:

Draw two cards, then discard two cards.

Just my own opinion, but I think it would be better for its -4, as it would allow you to put more things in the graveyard at once.

the -4s really good, but actually not overpowerd b/c of his cost! I like him, he seems balanced, playable, and fun for EDH!

I think the +2 is fine for a first ability, but I think it would be more balanced as +1. That's really all I'd suggest, and that is purely based on balancing, I do like the card though.

I mean, even the +2 is fine for his mana cost.

I like the art, the abilities and even the color scheme. I enjoy that much like Nichol Bolas he only takes three turns to ultimate.

I am curious though why it's called Jaeger. I did a quick search and found a Jaeger to usually mean one of two things:

  1. a : hunter, huntsman
b : one attending a person of rank or wealth and wearing hunter's costume

  2. :any of several large dark-colored birds (genus Stercorarius) of northern seas that are related to the skua, are strong fliers, and tend to harass weaker birds until they drop or disgorge their prey

Is this incarnation referencing the first definition or is it something else entirely? And if it's the first definition is it A or B? And if it's B, what kind of bad ass must this Jaeger be subservient to!?

I named him that, because he is a hunter. His home is on the continent of Jamurraa on the plane of Dominaria. He lived with his clan of cats that were all well versed in Blue Black and Red magic. Jaeger dedicated his life defending and fighting for his clan. Using the talents of Blue Black and Red magic, he became a great fighter and hunter.

Eventually he came across a hidden cave. Inside it he encountered the Shrine of Yawgmoth (The Shrine of Yawgmoth was originally created to help stabilize Phyrexia, and was eventually moved to Rath to help sustain the plane when the Planeshift between Dominaria and Rath occurred. The shrine then came into Dominaria during the planeshift many years ago.)

When Jaeger came in contact with the shrine it permanently changed him. He felt faster, stronger, more powerful. It especially enhanced his powers in Black magic, but he also felt something strange. He felt more prone to anger. The shrine was slowly transforming him, after several months had past he then learned from one of the elders in his clan that since the shrine is now on Dominaria, and not on its home plane, it could now be defective, and might be the reason for Jaegers slow transformation. The only way that Jaeger could undo what has been done, is if Jaeger came in contact with the shrine where it was originally built, back on Phyrexia, but the plane was destroyed many years ago; He then told Jaeger that his power would grow stronger and stronger every day, and his bitterness and impatience would also increase alongside his power. The elder then told Jaeger that eventually, his mental state will become so unstable, that he will die in utter madness.

Shocked and disturbed about his new fate, Jaeger suddenly went into a violent outburst and unintentionally caught a tree on fire. Knowing now that Jaeger was endangering his clan, he was immediately exiled to keep his clan safe.

Having nowhere else to go, Jaeger traveled back to the cave where he saw Nicol Bolas roaming the outskirts of the abandoned area. He appeared to be searching for something. It then occurred to Jaeger that he was searching for the shrine that he found a few years earlier! Knowing that he couldn't let him of all people come in contact with something that important and powerful, he immediately ran inside the cave while Nicol Bolas wasnt looking; however, the elder dragon sensed his presence and began entering the cave. Jaeger ran in front the shrine. Nicol Bolas then approached him and realized that the item he was searching for was right behind Jaeger. "Back away!" yelled Jaeger, but Nicol Bolas didn't seem phased by him and began reaching for the artifact, but before he could grasp it, Jaeger went into a huge fit of sheer madness, and his spark was ignited, which exploded the shrine behind him. Doing so caused a time rift to be created. Because of this, Jaeger was planeswalked to a time long ago, to a place quite forbidding, Phyrexia.

The picture that I used for this planeswalker was a picture of Jaeger in Phyrexia trying to find the Shrine of Yawgmoth. Jaeger is racing against time to try to save his own life. He has no clue when his death date is, but he knows that he has to find the shrine soon. The longer Jaeger waits, the more powerful/unstable he becomes. I am still working on the story right now, but that is the basic outline of it. I am also planning to add more information about Nicol Bolas and how he knew where the general location of the shrine was.
