New Planeswalker, Hardhitta!
Custom Cards forum

Just wanted to show off my Planeswalker card. I've wanted to make it for a while but couldn't do it on my phone so my buddy Dredgar did it.
What does everyone think?
Bet y'all didn't guess it would be u/r. =P
Btw I paint vehicles, that's why I have a paint mask on. Lol

Thanks icehit6! That's exactly what I had in mind for the Ult. Was thinking Past in Flames in a Planeswalker form.
You think the Scry 2 + shuffle is too much? What if it was just Scry 2 without the Shuffle option?
I will defiantly think about the minus 2 as well. We came up with most of it as we were doing it, I just had a general idea.

I think that only scrying for two would be a pretty reasonable effect as well! Just having the option to do both is really strong - it's essentially ponder, except you scry two instead of three, and there was a reason that effect was banned in modern haha it was gamebreaking for control or any deck that runs blue.
As for the minus two, the only reason I would say the exile effect would be more fair is because with the current effect you can do things like on your opponents turn play something like Silence, then on your turn, return it to your hand, their turn silence... you see my point. It would just be a broken, endless cycle and not allow your opponents to do anything basically. Especially if you're playing some type of control.

Yeah, I actually do play Ponder in most of my casual decks, but I might make it just Scry 2. That seems more reasonable like you said.
The minus 2 is defiantly broken. Lol I will work on that. I like the idea you came up with. Flashback and then exile it. I play a ton of u/r decks so I like that it has something to do with instants and sorceries.

I'm actually on the opposite side here. I think it's a little weak. It doesn't have a way to protect itself, the +1 doesn't net you any cards, and the -2 requires mana to use the same turn.
What makes Ponder particularly powerful is that you can look at the top three, choose one, and draw it or shuffle your library and draw. The key difference here is the draw. All from the same spell. Since the +1 here doesn't draw, I don't think it's anywhere near that power level.
As for the -2 for silence, you can really only do that once right out of the gate. sure, if you have a ton of loyalty then you can do that for a few turns, but honestly, I don't really think it's that busted.

Thanks Nemesis! This isn't meant to be a really serious card, more another custom card to put with my Nas one on my profile. With that being said I don't want it to be completely busted either, just look cool and be functional.
My original idea for the Ult was "You may search your library for any number of instant or sorcery cards and play them without paying the mana cost until end of turn". My friend was like "uhhhhh no, that's way too powerful". Lol

Pretty strong. I think a little too much. It would definitely be more fair for a scry one option to reshuffle library. Also instead of the minus 2 being return instant or sorcery, it should be exile target instant or sorcery for a flashback effect, kind of like Snapcaster Mage. That way you wouldn't have an every turn lockout effect that this card gives. Ultimate is perfectly fine in my opinion, it gives the opponent enough time to kill the planeswalker, but also gives a reasonable effect.
