so i got a little bored the the other day and decided to create a new sword of X and Y cycle and share it. here's what i came up with. For the sake of saving space and typing, like the other cycle, each one gives the creature +2/+2, triggers when combat damage is dealt, 3 to cast and 2 to equip
~Sword of Law and Order:
protection from white and blue. Tap one land and one creature defending playing controls. those permanent dont untap durning their controls next uptap step.
~Sword of Secrets and Lies
protection from blue and black. look at the top of defending players library and defending players revels his or her hand. choose a non-land card with CMC of 3 or less and that player discards it
~Sword of Suffer and Anguish
protection form black and red. defending player sacrifices a creature and Sword of Suffer and Anguish deals 2 damage to you
~Sword of Reform and Rebirth
protection from red and green. draw a card then discard a card. return target creature card from your graveyard to your hand
~Sword of Growth and Guidance
protection for green and white. you may play an additional land this turn and uptap all creatures you control

Yeah just a few templating things and that the red/green one should discard then draw, as that's the way red does it. Otherwise, they look good.

I feel like on Suffer and Anguish, your opponent can take the two AND the discard. The discard is pretty mild, especially when you self inflict 2 damage.

I would absolutely love to play with the Reform and Rebirth, and with the Growth and Guidance.
Suffering and Anguish is a little weird. The edict on a stick is nice, but also it hits us for the same amount of damage as it hits them. I don't think it would see a lot of play.

Reform and Rebirth is super good I think. You get a chance at getting back the card you discarded. I like that.

These are actually really cool. Great job. I think I'd probably like to play all of them.

Me Gusta:) although I agree that Suffer and Anguish doesn't need the drawback of hitting yourself. But it is flavorful, maybe two damage to each player? Also I really like the names you've chosen, dramatic and really quite fitting.
