How about something like:
Overpowered Land Card
Legendary Land
Flash
~ Enters the Battlefield Tapped
T, Pay 1 Life: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.

You can't flash City of Brass into play during your opponent's first turn.
February 16, 2014 11:37 p.m.
You can't do it with your land either.
305.3. A player cant play a land, for any reason, if it isnt his or her turn. Ignore any part of an effect that instructs a player to do so.

Iluven, Arisen (PPPPPP)
Planeswalker - Iluven (mythic)
+3 ][ exile the top three cards of your library.
-1 ][ shuffle target card from your graveyard into your library.
-15 ][ Put an emblem on the field with 'You may cast exiled cards with warp you own.'
(4)
Flux Feild (1P)
instant (common)
tap target creature. warp.
Succubus of the Deep (3PP)
creature - daemon (uncommon)
(>): take control of target creature until end of turn. it gets -3/-0 until end of turn.(3/1)
Chasm Hydra (4PPPP)
creature - hydra (rare)
whenever Chasm Hydra is dealt damage, put that many +1/+1 counters on it, after damage is applied.other creatures you control have hexproof.(4/4)
Earthshaker Wurm (2PP)
creature - wurm (mythic)
whenever Earthshaker Wurm attacks, tap up to three target permanents.(4/4)
(P) is purple, a color I created in a personal idea set as 'evil blue' and entirely anti-multi-colored. Warp is an ability I created, reading (When you cast this spell from your hand, you may exile it. If you do, you may cast another target exiled spell you control with warp of the same type for no cost until end of turn. The initial spell does not resolve.)

The Final Gamble
1RB
Enchantment Artifact
Sacrifice 20 nontoken permanents (other than this card during one turn): you win the game.
At the start of both you and your opponent's upkeep return a permanent to your hand. Your maximum hand size is decreased by one. Your maximum hand size cannot be increased while this card is in play. Discard one card from your hand every turn if able.
Flavor Text: "Rakdos goblins tend to act irrationally after coming back..." -Local Cow
February 17, 2014 2:28 p.m.
Why is it an artifact too? The name doesn't indicate that it is an object.
Have it read "Sacrifice 20 other nontoken permanents" and you don't need the reminder text.
You really need to tidy up how this is written to function how you seem to want it to. Also, I can't tell if you want your maximum hand size to reduce by 1 total while it is in play, or reduce by 1 every time you return a permanent to your hand from its effect.
For this effect I'd do something like
The Final Gamble
1RB
Enchantment
Sacrifice 20 non-token permanents: You win the game.
At the beginning of each upkeep, return a permanent you control to its owner's hand. Your maximum hand size is decreased by one. Ignore all effects increasing your maximum hand size. Discard a card at the beginning of each discard phase.

Desecration
Cost: 1BBGG
Sorcery - Mythic Rare
Destroy all creatures, then return all creatures destroyed this way to the battlefield under your control at the beginning of your next turn. They are black zombies in addition to their other types that gain haste and "Exile this creature at the beginning of the next end step or if it would leave the battlefield" If this spell would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, shuffle it into its owners library instead. (Exile this spell as it resolves if you cast it from your hand.)
"No, I did not bring an army, I knew yours would be here." --- Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord
Embrace of the Lich
Sorcery - Mythic Rare
3BW
Creatures you control gain Intimidate and Lifelink until end of turn. Rebound (If you cast this spell from your hand, exile it as it resolves. At the beginning of your next upkeep, you may cast this card from exile without paying its mana cost.)
"To achieve immortality, you must first conquer your fear of death."
Purphoros's Champion
3RRR
Human Berserker - Uncommon
Trample
When Purphoros's Champion enter's the battlefield it get's +X/+0 until end of turn where X is your devotion to red. Suspend 5--R(1 red mana) (Rather than cast this card from your hand, you may pay R and exile it with five time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter. When the last is removed, cast it without paying its mana cost. It has haste.)
"He is rage incarnate, often entering the fray at the most inopportune moment just to seek the glory of battle, but when he restrains himself and unleashes all his fury upon his adversaries at the proper moment, it is glorious." - Purphoros, God of the Forge

@ptdacon83, Why not add haste to the Champion naturally?
February 17, 2014 6:28 p.m.
Because I want it to be uncommon. I designed the card so that when used as a Turn 1 suspend was a powerful clock looming over your opponents head as you build devotion, but could still be useful with combat tricks and static haste effects as a hard cast later in the game. I feel that giving it haste, or allowing it to give its +X/+0 buff on ETB to another creature (which would contradict the berserker flavor of the card) besides itself would push it to either rare or overpowered for its cost and rarity. Plus by not having haste it also gives incentive to play the card as it was designed since suspend grants haste. Also haste and trample on the same card is just to strong without some kind of drawback or limitation.
February 17, 2014 7:04 p.m.
@ptdacon83 It being 7/3 and getting +x/+0 on ETB -without- haste makes him pretty much 100% unplayable for his normal cost. Casting him first main and having a guy with 10+ power who still dies to lightning bolt and can't actually do anything without another card powering him is pretty weak sauce.
You could go the viashino route. Lower the power a bit, give him haste, and have him return to hand at end of turn, or maybe get suspend 3 at end of turn or something like that.

February 18, 2014 12:36 p.m.
@Devonin Yes but as a turn one suspend, it forces them to play differnent, do they counter and remove everything they can to limit your devotion, or do they save their best stuff for when he drops? If they hold back their counter and removal spells for when he drops, he did his job, if they go all out and burn up all their resources trying to limit your devotion so that they have nothing to combat him with, he did his job, if you hard cast him for his normal casting cost and he sticks and he attacks and kills a couple guys he did his job. He is a very good uncommon red creature, is limitations were intentional so that he would be uncommon and not a rare powerhouse.

Name: Abrupt Sacrifice
Cost: 2GGRR
Type: Legendary Instant (is there such thing?)
Ability: Sacrifice a creature. Abrupt Sacrifice deals damage to all opponents and all creatures they control equal to half that creature's power rounded up. Then, put a number of X/X legendary artifact creature tokens with trample and haste named Guurmogg, the Unlimited onto the battlefield. Their power and toughness is equal to the number of creatures named Guurmogg, the Unlimited you control. At the beginning of your next upkeep, sacrifice all creatures you control or you lose the game.
Flavour text: well, we didn't need jim anyways...
February 18, 2014 11:13 p.m.
That's a bizarre spell in general, but being a Legendary Instant wouldn't do anything except be tutorable by Captain Sisay and draw you a card off Reki, the History of Kamigawa . You'd still be able to have multiple copies in a deck, and multiple copies of the spell on the stack, and since it is never a permanent on the battlefield, no aspect of the Legend Rule would matter except for those two cards.
February 19, 2014 1:52 p.m.
Also @hassankachal Some issues:
1/ The spell makes "a number of" x/x creatures without specifying what that number is. equal to the sac'd creatures power? toughness? cmc? Any number you want?
2/ The spell creates a number of LEGENDARY creatures on the battlefield, of which all but one will immediately need to go to the graveyard as a state-based-effect and cease to exist, leaving you a single 1/1 Guurmogg
Maybe what you want is something like this, though to template your effect properly and clearly is a LOT of rules text.
Abrupt Sacrifice
2GGRR
Legendary Instant
Sacrifice a creature. Then Abrupt Sacrifice deals damage to all opponents and each creature they control equal to half the sacrificed creature's power rounded up. Then put X 1/1 Red and Green Legendary Creature tokens named Guurmogg, the Unlimited onto the battlefield where X is half the sacrificed creature's power rounded up. They have trample, haste, 'Gurrmogg, the Unlimited gets +1/+1 for each other creature you control named Gurrmogg, the Unlimited, and 'The legend rule does not apply to creatures named Guurmogg, the Unlimited'
At the beginning of your next upkeep, sacrifice each creature you control, or you lose the game.

@hassankachal Still not actually saying how many creatures to make. You need to assign a value to "a number" unless I'm allowed to pick any number I want. In which case I'll happily make 1000 1000/1000 hastey tramplers and auto-win.

How About
Abrupt Sacrifice
2GGRR
Instant
Starting with you each player sacrifices a creature, continue this process until a player can no longer sacrifice a creature. As you cast this spell any player may have Abrupt Sacrifice deal damage to them, and each creature they control, equal the power any one creature of an opponents choice to prevent this. Put X X/X artifact creature tokens with trample and haste named Guurmogg, the Unlimited onto the battlefield where X is the number of creatures sacrificed this way. May I ask where the name Guurmogg, the Unlimited came from? :)
This isn't the kind of card I would even consider playing, but here goes:
Tormod, Consumer of Wastes
4BB
Legendary Creature - Demon Wizard Zombie
At the beginning of your upkeep, exile a creature card from any graveyard. You gain life equal to its toughness and target player loses life equal to its power.
A beautiful resting place? To look at, perhaps. To live in...
7/5
This is my first attempt at card design, so I'm not sure if this is completely broken or not :) I tried to extend the flavor of a card that really deserves it in Tormod's Crypt .
February 19, 2014 11:21 p.m.
I like it alot, but for flavor and balancing I think it should read "At the beginning of your upkeep, exile a creature card from your graveyard. You gain life equal to its toughness and target player loses life equal to its power. If you cannot, then exile Tormod, Consumer of Wastes and put an artifact emblem into play named Tormod's Crypt with 'T, Sacrifice Tormod's Crypt: Exile all cards from target player's graveyard'."

If G was spent it, when Elvish Vanguard enters the battlefield it gains "This creature has hexproof and T, add R or G to your mana pool."
"They fell upon us from the foliage and canopy with all the fury of nature itself, overwhelming our defenses and raising our encampment before an alarm could be sounded. @ptdacon83: It seems pretty decent. My only issue is viglance. Seeing as how that triggers when it is either blocked or blocks, that's pretty OP. I also think that exiling black creatures is a bit much too. maybve take that away and add the ability "2WW: Exile target black creature that dealt damage this turn. Activate this ability only as a sorcery."
