Ravenous Bloodlord
Custom Cards forum

Since WotC has revealed a creature version of Sanguine Bond for the upcoming Battle for Zendikar set, I wish to create a creature version of Exquisite Blood. I actually created this card several years ago, shortly after EB was revealed, but, sicne I joined this forum only recently, I have not posted here, until now, and this is what I have created.
Ravenous Bloodlord Show
Since both Butcher of Malakir and Bloodgift Demon are 5/4 creatures with flying that have abilities that originated on enchantments, I modeled this creature after them. A problem with EB is that it did not have any way to make a player lose life and thus trigger its ability, so this creature can do that, thus having synergy with itself.
What does everyone think about this card? Did I do well with it, or does it need adjustment?
Use this for your spoiler:
==/=accordion
=/==panel:Name
Content
=/==endpanel
==/=endaccordion
Just without the breaks in the equals.

Should I simply remove the spoiler tag? I like using those when I post a custom card, to save space, but, if no one can access it, perhaps I should remove it.

Here's how you can do a spoiler:
===spoiler:Insert name here
Insert text shown inside spoiler here
===endspoiler
Becomes:Insert name here Show

Thank you very much, AwesomeName, that works much better.
However, I now have a problem with each line in the text running into the next line; is there any way to have the text appear in separate lines? And can text in spoiler tags be bolded or italicized?

Yes, you can do that, like this:
===spoiler:Insert name here
<p>Insert text shown inside spoiler here<p>
<p>This word is <em>italic</em></p>
<p>This word is <strong>bold</strong></p>
===endspoiler
Becomes:
Insert name here Show

Finally, the post is as I wish for it to be; thank you, again, AwesomeName.
Now that that issue has been addressed, what does everyone think of the card itself?

It's balanced and interesting, but I wouldn't exactly be happy to see it in a pack.

I am having problems with the spoiler tag; when I click it, it does not open, so can anyone here help me out with it? Thank you very much.
