This is actually pretty good. It stores leftover mana.

I think that it is really good as an idea, but easily broken. Someone can put it down early, and get it to store up by turn four three mana. Then put down a 7/6 or something of the sort, and wreck the start game. It gets worse with the 1 for putting a charge counter on it, because storage is that much easier.

I think that a good change would be to make it so there's a limit and a life or discard cost.
