So I heard people were inventing some lands. So I too shall jump on this bandwagon.

I had this idea for a land that I was thinking could be viable, but I wanted to know what people would think about it. The inspiration is (rather clearly) from the keyword storm. Is the ability too weak, too strong? What do you think?

I'm not sure if that's broken. In the storm deck it's pretty good, but 4 to make that much mana seems like a fair number...

then again, I do play Storm and think it's a good deck. So I might be biased.

It's really specific, so not terribly powerful, and so much so that I feel it's not... good. It's too specific for my tastes.

Yeah. The cost is so high that there won't be many situations where you would even benefit from it. I mean, just think how many other lands you would have to have to utilize that? First: all the mana for at least 4 spells and then 4 for The Court of Mirrors. Almost only situation you could have that is when you can produce infinite mana and where would you need this anymore? Basically it would just work as legendary land (Captain Sisay approves) that produces one colorless mana.

Imho.

This kinda screams Elves to me.

definitely not OP, but 4 t activate the ability seems a little questionable

So, would lowering the cost to 2 or 3 or so make this land seem more viable and/or useable?

3 sounds about right. 2 wouldnt be enough and 4 is too much.

Actually, I could even see 2 to activate being realistic. Remember, Cabal Coffers is a thing, and having swamps is much more reliable than casting a lot of spells in a turn.

Some possible edits to make this feel rare:

Take away it's ability to tap for mana on it's own. You should have to commit to casting a lot of spells a turn. This way it's ONLY useful if you have a storm count, and unless your storm count is greater than it's activation cost it's just a bad filter.

Make it only able to produce mana of the same color as a spell you've cast this turn. You're already calling it "The Hall of Mirrors," this way it will actually feel like it's reflecting something

Make the activation cost 2, and give it gold background (it's is tapping for colored mana after all...).
