Alizer313 were passing the time designing these 5 legends. Tell us what you think :)

All permanents and players have shroud.

(Flavor text) "Small she may be, but I trust my research to nothing else." Momir Vig, Simic Visionary

Pretty cool.

First one: I think that's a little excessive. Shroud is an obsolete keyword now, and it isn't used on cards designed after SOM block (possibly earlier). Hexproof has replaced it. Also, the ability is very, very powerful, and it only becomes more powerful if the shroud is changed to hexproof. I think it should be more selective.

Second one: The ability needs to be reworded. Triggered abilities begin with "at," "when," or "whenever," not with "if" (which, when used at the start of an ability, normally identifies replacement effects).

Third one: The second ability needs to be reworked into a triggered ability that triggers on ETB. "As" defines a replacement effect, and abilities like that are not of the kind that are designed as replacement effects. (I suppose that may be part of the novelty of your idea, but I don't think the current ability is mechanically plausible.)

Fourth one: The first ability's last part needs to read "enchantment card," as cards are only referred to by just permanent type if the reference is to a permanent (a card on the battlefield). Cards in graveyards are not permanents. Also, is the second ability's duration meant to be indefinite? Normally, you would make something like this "until end of turn" because permanent effects tend to be identified with a reminder of some kind (for example, a counter).

Fifth: I believe Nephalia is UB, not UR. The only Nephalian we currently know of that has red in it is Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge. Maybe make it UBR as well? Also, the wording needs tweaking: "gains flashback" and "Its flashback cost" (first is templating, second is grammar).

Sure shroud can go and it can be pricier. Selectiveness defeats the purpose of the design, which is a universal protection for everyone and everything. Like a "let's play fair" kinda thing, except it's actually good.

I remember thinking that exact thought but forgot to change it.

Tsak-Tsak of the Furnace 3RW

Legendary Artifact Creature - Golem

It's definitely part of the point here, cause searching for Darksteel Plate or Swiftfoot Boots is pointless if you could just respond to the ability.

Astrina, the String of Fates 2WB

Legendary Enchantment Creature - Spirit

Constellation - Whenever another enchantment comes into play under your control, return an enchantment card from your graveyard to your hand.

Sacrifice an enchantment: Target enchantment gains indestructible until end of turn.

DUH I should have known, and that was supposed to be end of turn. However, Fated Return would like to talk to you.

The Abomination of Nephalia 3UR

Legendary Creature - Dragon Zombie

Haste, Flying

When ~ deals combat damage to a player, target instant or sorcery in your graveyard gains flashback until the end of turn. Its flashback cost is equal to its mana cost.

Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery from your graveyard, put a +1/+1 counter on ~.

Well flashback giving in innistrad is only in red and blue, and since its a Skaab and a Dragon, it makes sense for the colors too. The last thing is to find where skaabs are made, which apparently is Nephalia (see "Skaabs"). However, the two words were fixed.

Thanks for the help! :D

I think we're working on five more for allied colors. Thanks for the constructive comment Epoch.
