Legendary Artifact - Equipment

Equipped creature gets +3/+3 and has protection from red, white and black.

Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to an opponent, goad each creature that player controls. At the beginning of that players next combat step, for each creature they control they may pay 2 life to prevent it from attacking.

• Rather than trying to represent all 3 colors, try to represent the idea of what those colors mean. You'll notice I don't represent {W} specifically but I do represent the endless loss and struggle of war, which is what Mardu represents.

• How many times can you use "represents" in a sentence, Timmy?

I like the idea of letting them pay 2 to avoid the effect. Similar to Isolation Cell it gives the player who’s getting negatively affected a little bit of involvement, rather than just getting zapped.

Attack with everything and leave yourself open to me next turn, or fork over some life upfront lol
