Before I begin, let me preface this by saying this would be an online card ONLY. The reason being that it would be almost impossible to do this fairly as a paper card, or even using the honor system it would be a nightmare to keep track of. A computer however, already does this. This card would take maybe 2-3 lines of code, if that. And it would be efficient, fair, and symmetrical. And it's a neat idea.
Caveat: the card template doesn't let me set the font size so I couldn't squeeze in the expected reminder text and whatnot
In case anyone here doesn't know what a restore point is, every single aspect of the game is saved. Which cards are in which zones in which order and the state they're in, tokens, counters, life totals, poison counters, named aspects, whose turn, what's on the stack, EVERYTHING. If the network were to go down for a decade you could load up the game and resume as though nothing had happened.
First, the implication inherent in your previous post is that Funkydiscogod is not an “experienced player”. Given their activity and the general quality of their posts on this site, I am inclined to disagree.
I agree with the gist of Funkydiscogod‘s post - that this card’s primary purpose would be to drag out the game to an untenable level. There is a reason Shahrazad is the only card banned in Vintage for its effect (as opposed to the blanket bans on Ante, dexterity cards, and conspiracy cards) - Wizards does not want single cards that force the game to linger longer than is necessary.

Maybe I am missing something but doesn’t this just let its controller make the game go on for an infinite amount of time?
A play could suspend it for one. Then use the restore point the next turn. This would happen endlessly. Imagine what trolls would do with this card...
Not to mention if your opponent has less time on the clock then you, you could use this to try and make them time out! Seems completely broken unless I am missing something.

I guess it takes an experienced player to understand just how powerful this card would be. The cars remain the same but the choices could be different. Here's the situation:
Should I attack into a 'possible' Settle the Wreckage? Let me make a restore point and then swing with everything.
Or...
I want to put Jace on the table but not if I can't draw something to protect him with in the next few turns.
Think of it like buying insurance: it probably won't make a difference.
