I noticed this floating around the internet today.
Play Magic: The Gathering: The RuPauls Drag Race Edition
I like the idea of a RuPaul's Drag Race block, but I am concerned about the power level of some of these cards. I don't have time to offer commentary on each of them, but here are a few standouts.
Oddly enough, Ru herself seems the least OP, given her casting cost. Even as a commander, 7WUBRG is really high, given that all it takes is a simple Path to Exile to get rid of her.
I'm also interested in knowing whether "sashay away" means exile, or whether it means destroy. Exile seems a better fit.
Violet Chachki would be a nightmare in EDH with all the tucking.
Frankly, I think Pearl is the most broken of all these cards. WW to drop her, WW for her a Necklace token, and then another W to destroy target creature. Given that none of these creatures, including Pearl, have to tap to activate these abilities, it just seems like these cards are way too OP.

I guess, since the player controlling the creature gets to choose which one he or she tucks, it's not so terrible. Still, it could completely destroy, say, a Bruna, Light of Alabaster deck.

My wife and I watch Drag Race... it's amazing. Sent this article over to her as soon as I saw it in the hopes that she would be a liiiittle more accepting of my MtG addiction. Best part I think is the cross-over for the word tuck - perfect!
