The Wanderer, Ronin
Legendary Planeswalker - Wanderer
The Wanderer, Ronin, may block as though she were a creature. Prevent all combat damage dealt to her. She deals damage equal to her loyalty. If she would destroy a creature, instead exile it and put a loyalty counter on her. If that creature was legendary, put two loyalty counters on her instead.
+1 Put a Shi counter on target creature. As long as it has a Shi counter on it, it attacks you each turn if able.
-3 Exile target creature or Planeswalker.
-10 Exile all creatures and Planeswalkers you don't control. You gain that much life.

That is a very good question, legendofa. Hmm. I'm honestly not sure. Perhaps only if she willingly blocks a creature? Otherwise that's a bit OP.
But it's already pretty OP. Someone swings in with a 7/7 and you have an automatic Fog, sort of. Or it doesn't even need to be a 7/7. Infect, discard upon contact, triggered abilities, etc.
And the other question it raises is, can she be declared as a blocker WHEN she is attacked? So if my opponent specifically attacks her, and I block with her, what happens?
Furthermore, suppose my opponent attacks me with their Commander and specifically her with a 4/4. Does she take the 4? And what if instead of blocking the 4/4, I block the Commander. Does she take damage from the 4/4 but not the Commander? Or does she take no damage?
Huh. No idea.
Any suggestions from the community on how to clean her up and make it less wordy?

What's your intention for the damage prevention? As a creature, it's powerful. As a planeswalker, it's very powerful. I think it might be best to take out that clause.
Gideon's the classic example of a creature-planeswalker, and Grist basically sidesteps the issue. Existing as a creature on defense twists the rules into a pretzel, as you laid out. I'm not sure how to approach it.
As for the loyalty abilities, the +1 seems fairly strong, but acceptably so--compare to Rowan Kenrith. It seems more at home in or maybe , though. The others look good to me, but I'm not great at evaluating planeswalker abilities on sight.

Does the "Prevent all combat damage dealt to her" clause only apply when she's blocking, or when she's attacked and not declared as a blocker?
