Mizzium Myr
Shroud, Indestructible
Mizzium Myr can't attack.
Spells and abilities your opponents control can't cause you to sacrifice Mizzium Myr.
If Mizzium Myr would be put into a graveyard, it's owner shuffles it back into their library instead.
If Mizzium Myr is assigned damage that would cause it to be destroyed, the resulting damage is dealt to the creature Mizzium Myr is blocking.
0/1

I think that looks to be about 1.5-2.0 times as much text than can fit on a card. I think Marath, Will of the Wild is maxed out, so even adding the errata would be just over, so compare it to that?

The last ability doesn't work... it's indestructible, so the replacement will never trigger with that wording.

The last text of it doesn't work/make sense since indestructable prevents lethal damage I think. Now if it was like "combat damage dealt to mizzium myr is dealt to the source instead." That wording also allows trample damage to go through as well like it should and not backfire onto the source of the damage.

Love the art, I lol'd.MagicalHacker
How about condensing all of the abilities into a shorter handed style? For example,
Shroud, indestructible, can't be sacrificed due to spells or abilities controlled by opponents, if Mizzium Myr would be put into a graveyard, shuffle it into it's owners library instead. Prevent all damage that would be dealt to you by a creature blocked by Mizzium Myr.
Still too much?

The shuffle it back ability isn't really relevant. It will only hit the graveyard in fringe cases. That would leave us with a reasonable amount of text.
Shroud, indestructibleMizzium Myr can't attack.Spells and abilities your opponents control can't cause you to sacrifice Mizzium Myr.Prevent all combat damage dealt to Mizzium Myr. Deal that much damage to the creature that dealt the damage.

I'd also cut the whole anti sac engine there. It makes it a little too good especial at a 2 drop that is basically a strictly better Fog Bank since it has a similar effect but there's so much more.

If I gave it +1/+1 and made it a four drop, cut the ant sac clause and shuffle ability, would that make it "fair"?

sergiodelrio says... #10
I think it would be fair at though... like Fog Bank+Tajuru Preserver
Also use defender to save space.

With the can't attack clause, is reach still pushing it since it can't attack?

I actually feel like this is so strong, it needs "If Mizzium Myr leaves the battlefield, its owner loses the game.".

True. Because, in Temur, if it leaves the battlefield, you were doing it wrong anyway. Though, I guess Council's Judgment is a thing to worry about.

And that seems like a really good way to arrange it on a card facepalms.

Replacement effects don't trigger, and indestructible is not a prevention effect. #nitpick

I just see the name around a lot. And there's no such thing as "fanboying".

Interesting how you immediately think that I'm a guy... But that's not the subject of discussion here. About the card: too much text, and mass exile effects will still get this. That said, I have no idea if you genuinely want to make this impossible to get rid of or not...

Well I could hide behind the fact that I'm german and not a native english speaker, so I mixed up the words :P
...
But I'll use that card another day, since I actually got this wrong.

If you're talking about the fanboy comment, I was reffering to myself. At any rate, I'd love to see Wizards print something broken. Well, again anyway.

A better way to phrase the last ability is:
If Mizzium Myr would be dealt damage while blocking instead deal that much damage dived as you choose amoung the creature that Mizzium Myr is blocking.
If damage would be dealt to Mizzium Myr you may prevent that damage.
The second part is to keep it from being killed by mass damage with wither/infect.
May 14, 2015 9:37 p.m.
Serra_Sentinel says... #32
Wouldn't the first part redirect the damage anyway so the Myr didn't take it?
May 14, 2015 9:40 p.m.
SpartanCEL says... #38
Haha yea I was like 'wasn't there a card that had damage delt as though it had wither?' So I googled it and it is indeed a thing. Welp night guys hope I contributed haha

Trying to stop trample? I believe the ability you're looking for is "banding". It does other stuff too, but a shroud, indestructible, defender, banding, can't be sacrificed seems interesting.
May 14, 2015 10:10 p.m.
Yeah the trample confusion was my bad cause I felt the text on the initial card idea was worded oddly.
