Thoughts on a card for custom set?

Would love Imput on this card, it is part of my charm cycle in a custom set I'm building. Do you think this card is balanced or is it Op? Would you play this card?
That's a command, the choose 2, four options thing. Also, it sounds waaay more badass. "Death's Command". Would play that just for the name.
Now for the balance of the card: it's balanced. Maybe change the discard 2 at random to simply discard 2, since random discards can be pretty brutal, especially at instant speed. Mind Rot is a sorcery-speed common for a reason. Other than that, I like all the other modes a lot, would definitely run that in a Golgari or Sultai control.

This card needs to be gold instead of hybrid, as none of those effects are in both and slice of the color pie. Also, if you're going to do those effects on a command, it probably needs to cost . Mind Rot + Chainer's Edict + Vindicate for non-creatures + drain life is a bit too good for 4 CMC in my opinion. I could see , but 4 mana seems a bit too good.

the discard is still gross at instant speed. it should be something along the lines of Distress at instant speed. 2 cards at instant speed is really, really powerful.

Esper Charm has discard two at instant speed. At five CMC this wouldn't be awful. Sacrificing a creature and something else at four is very much strong.

Way to powerful. Your basically able to get 2 better +1's and a -2 from Liliana of the Veil for 4 mana.
I'd keep it at 4 mana, but change it to for a harder casting cost and then make it discard a single card.
Nice card though!

I like Maltanis' idea for the casting cost. Four is a pushing too powerful, but five seems like it's watered it down too much. Adding to the cmc's colors is kinda like making it four and a half mana in the sense that it puts the power level between four and five cmc. Also agree that it should be gold and not hybrid for the reasons stated, and that artwork is sick. Love it.
Oh, and discard two may be too much because then it's usually a three for one (excluding control and token strategies)

Changed it slightly to make it more balanced
