Name: Mana Rift
T: Add 
to your mana pool.
T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. Spend this mana only to cast spells on your opponent's turn.
Broken, or no?
Maybe if you set another constriction, like only instants of a chosen color?

Well, my original idea was to just have that second ability, and not have it tap for colorless mana. This'd basically mean that you'd be 1 land drop behind to cast things on your turn.

That would be a lot less broken, not even sure I'd want to play it in something other than T1 other upkeep Vintage, as another Gemstone Mine.

I think it's fine really. I think something neat is a fusion of Exotic Orchard and Reflecting Pool, so:
Mana rift
Land
: Add to your mana pool.
: Add to your mana pool one mana of any type a land on the battlefield could produce. This mana can only be used to play spells on an opponent's turn.

Alternatively, the earlier idea about taking out the first ability would be unique and balanced if it was only activatable on an opponent's turn. Id play it.

Guys, guys, I got one.
LAND!
Type: Mountain, Island, Plains, Forest, Swamp
Taps for Red, Blue, White, Green or Black mana.
LAND! Enters the battlefield with 3 time counters on it. Pay 3 life: remove a time counter.
When LAND! has zero time counters on it sacrifice it and put an indestructable, hexproof, colorless Legendary Avatar with Flying named You Done Fucked Up Now into play.

@fluffybunnypants - that land is so unbroken that it wouldn't even see play in budget EDH.

fluffybunnypants: I think you'd need the right meta for that land to be viable. I mean, Angel of Jubilation just makes it unusable, right?
