Time is futile... but not with her.

Alright, so here's a planeswalker that I'm thinking about. It's an interesting walker that does a lot, so hang tight with me while I explain her.
Alright. So let me explain a bit. The whole point of this card is that it is impossible to transform her unless you have an overly full hand. This is done on purpose, you will see why soon. Her +1 ability helps with this by keeping her stable at your hand size, and giving you cantrip. Her 0 might be a bit overpowered, but doesn't touch lands, and so is not too damaging. Her "ult" (not really) can only be achieved with a full hand, which then becomes your library. Aren't you happy that you had that full hand? Which brings us to her other side.
First a few clarifications. Lyssa is still blue, and her loyalty does NOT become one, it just stays the same as it was when you transformed her.
Anyways, this card was very meticulously designed. Her +1 acts as a tutor, but making sure that your library does not expire. Liking it so far? It only gets better. Her -3 was also carefully calculated so that she can't use it infinitely. She also becomes extremely vulnerable after using it to a bolt or whatever. And her real ult is an Onmiscience. Not bad with the cards that you get regularly from exile, right?
So how do you like her? I think that she could be very powerful in the right shell, but I really like her and she is by far my best attempt at a planeswalker.
Thanks for looking!!!

You could probably also get away with dropping the cost down to . I don't see a reason to keep it so saturated.
Apart from those points, though, the concept is certainly interesting. I think you have the beginnings of something here, but the transform situation and the first ult need to be tweaked to make this card viable.

Epochalyptik Gah always providing criticism. But it's your job I guess :)
Obviously it's hard to ult this walker. I mean, it basically enables you to play any card from your deck for free.
As for the loyalty couter box, I am aware of that, but the crappy mtg card creator I use is not. Sue them, not me.
The artist I will try to find, I am just lazy.

Also, the first ult is actually ridiculously easy to enable in the right deck. You just have to have a full hand (not easy but if you're in a heavy blue deck, not hard at all either.) I could definitely change the cost though...

It's not so much that it's hard to achieve the ult. It's that it's hard to do anything to protect your walker afterward. You're basically left with a walker on 1-2 loyalty with no cards in hand and only whatever you have on the board (in blue, at that) to defend it. If you lose the walker, your library is gone and you're topdecking for the rest of the game (which is, at most, eight or nine turns due to the ult mechanics).
There needs to be a better balance of risk and reward, and it would be better to bring the risk down a bit. There's a practical limit to what people will put at stake, no matter what the payoff is.

Hmm I didn't think about that. What you say is (as always) very true though. Maybe something like "Choose three cards in your hand and shuffle the rest into your library" in addition to the other abilities? Or maybe make the first ult -5 so that she's not too unprotected...

It's odd. You need 8 cards in your hand to flip he and keep her alive, and then she goes infinite with proliferate. I'd build around her, but I wouldn't play the deck. Overall she's very fragile and durdly.

what if it gains hexproof and indestructible until the end of your next turn? of course its vulnerable to global effects that exile permanents, but those are not too commonly seen. however, it does give you a turn to recover and use her +1 ability.

jandrobard Eight cards is easy man :) You have seven, you draw one during your draw step, and you transform her during the discard.
tempest I would, but planeswalkers can't get indestructible or hexproof :(
Overall, I think I'm going to redesign this card a bit. I'll post the new ones a bit later in the day.

as for the first one, I think her +1 should be 0 just cuz. also, when you transform, normally with transform pw, it has no starting ammount, and just has as many as it was flipped over with. for her, are the counters removed and she gets a new ammount, she still has stuff +1 or was it a mistake>?

It could combo with Spellbook and still work as-is for the transformation effect.

The issue that I have is that it's very difficult to ult this walker, and you're left without anything in hand to defend it after ulting it. Remember that it's still the same permanent when transformed, so you won't be able to ult and then activate another loyalty ability.
You also don't need the starting loyalty box on the second face. It's currently impossible for this card to enter the battlefield transformed. The number of loyalty counters on the transformed side will be whatever number of counters remained after activating the front face's ult.
And always credit the artist.
