: Put a 0/1 spawn token on to the battlefield.
The mana cost seems a bit awkward, feedback is appreciated.
I was debating whether to make it phyrexian or not? Thoughts?

The problem is that this can give you 7 tokens on turn 1 if you desire. That sounds a little too powerful. The activated ability probably needs to cost some non-phyrexian mana to activate.

It's not the mana cost. It's the ability cost. NEVER make free-to-activate abilities.

Free abilities are never good. Also, this should probably be an artifact.

Adding to the activation cost would make it slightly less broken, but still too easy to abuse with stuff like Voltaic Key.
And with phyrexian mana, this pretty much becomes a weird mix of Birthing Pod and Bitterblossom. Just thinking that something like this might exist makes my head hurt.

I think you could keep the original and just have a clause saying you can only activate it once/twice per turn. Maybe make it sorcery speed too.

Or you can keep the card and its activation cost but add:
Place charge counter Phrexian incubator, pay activation cost per how many charges on Phyraxian incubator and put a 0/1 spawn token on battlefield.
Punish them for using it more than a few times.
