Tythis, Apocalypse Seer
Legendary Creature - Djinn
Spells and abilities that say "Destroy all creatures" now say "Destroy all nonland permanents."
3/3
Thoughts?

Well, I'm not sure. Outside of commander, all he really does is turn a Day of Judgment into a Planar Cleansing. (At v.1, at least.) Maybe I should give him Shroud, but be able to pay mana to resurrect him from the graveyard at the beginning of my upkeep if there are no other creatures on the battlefield? Too weak? Too strong?

I would give him indestructible, which is very much in the color pie for mardu and not change anything else.
Its text should be more like:
"If a spell or ability would destroy all creatures, instead destroy all non-land permanents."

If he's out and I cast Damnation can I regenerate my artifacts and planeswalkers?(if such cards are/become printed)

No, imagine there is the word "creatures" in Damnation is crossed out and the word "non-land permanents" is written over it. That is how this type of replacement ability works out.

Thanks for the feedback! I definitely should change the wording, Boza. I also agree that indestructible would be good for him.

Do not most djinni (that is the plural of "djinn") in this game have flying? I feel that he should have another ability, beyond his enhancement of mass destruction effects, so that he is not a "virtual vanilla" creature.

Also, djinn are usually blue in this game, so I believe that he would be better as an efreet, or even an angel or demon, since efreeti are not usually white.

Probably should have some way of preventing himself from being indestructible, like shroud or something.
