Urza, the Blind Seer

I wanted to design a planeswalker and my favorite ability is color hacking, so why not Blind Seer?

Urza, Blind Seer

+2 Allows for a range of options, the most obvious of which is protection. Cast a battle trick to change an attacker/blocker's color to one you're protected from. Also works with cards that exile or destroy things of a certain color (Celestial Purge) or things that counter spells of a given color (Douse, Flash Flood).

-3 Is just good and also references Glasses of Urza. Plays like the primeval dragons from Invasion (Darigaaz, the Igniter, Crosis, the Purger) and gives you potential card advantage. If you're running Painter's Servant it is borked

-10 Painter's Servant, and we all know how good that is. It doesn't kill Urza, Blind Seer either, and there is no way for an opponent to counteract it without their own Urza, Blind Seer

What do you think? Too powerful? Not powerful enough?

Not powerful enough. It doesn't protect itself. It requires cards to make it good. Its ult is just worthless.

It could work in a deck built around the planeswalker and Painter's Servant. Load your deck up with color hate that's common in your meta, then proceed to make everything that color.

You know people who play Douse? But anyways, the card just seems really underpowered. It requires a dedicated build that sucks without this on the field, and once it's out it's hard to protect. I like the originality, but maybe if you just gave him slightly more powerful abilities...

This is totally out of flavor of Urza and his machines..

I love the concept though it is broken. To much power in the mid game. Turn 4 or 5 drop easy. Mid game take over. In a ramp deck this would be sick. Shattering the game as we know it.

I would love to see more. Not really urza friendly but a beast of a card in the late game.
