This idea is based on a fake card that surfaced during the previews for Ravnica Allegiance, a card that I dearly wish had been real.

What does everyone else think of this card?

PlatinumOne, what do you suggest as a way to improve this card?

basically a complete overhaul. lower its cost, make it modal, and make it asymmetrical.

I mean, tbh, a lot of these are pretty weak for a six drop spell doing one in addition. For five mana, you could also get something like Awaken the Erstwhile , or Hour of Devastation , both of which do a lot more than those two other options.
If you consider the fact it's options, it's slightly better but tbh they're not options you'd pick at that point in the game.

I actually think this is a good card for standard and draft - it is well-costed and the options are good. The card is utter shiitake mushrooms at its normal casting cost, but amazing when spectacled out.
I think this would have been a better mythic for rakdos than Captive Audience .
But make it a sorcery - these effects at instant speed are too much. I imagine in modern, this would be "Did you crack a fetch? Then lose 7 more life!"

I shall alter the card into something different, as seen, here:

This time, I made the normal casting cost lower, made the spectacle cost higher, and provided an incentive to pay the higher alternative cost. I also made the first mode less extreme, since it can now be chosen multiple times.
Now, what does everyone else say about this card?

no offense, but i think that could would see zero play in almost any format. lets break it down one piece at a time.
all creatures get +4/-4 until end of turn: this could only ever be used as a pseudo buff spell if your creatures have at least 5 toughness. without that, its a bad board wipe for 6 mana, which is just too costly. even with its spectacle cost, you have to either cast a burn spell first (which means you're still required to be able to produce 5+ mana in that turn) or you have to attack and deal damage first, negating the possibility of using the card as a buff spell.
each player discards their hand: by the time you get to 6 mana, hands are usually already empty.
each player loses 7 life: symmetrical burn effects are rarely good. if your opponent has higher life, you're just killing yourself.
