Sorry for what happened earlier, somehow when I tried to edit my first post it created a new one. Anyways, here's the new stuff.
Plane Origin Story
The first written histories of man tell tales of a great migration, when the earliest ancestors came from another world, and first set foot on the Ohethi grasslands. They became a nomadic people, spreading out in tribes, never settling. For millennium they spread out eventually covering the entire continent, stretching from one sea to the next. It is sometime around then that two names emerged. The legendary warriors Bruza and Slod, each leaders of the earliest settlements, on either side of Ohethi. They started the first conquests, absorbing the lands and peoples around them, to form the first civilizations of man. Bruza was a military genius, utilizing superior weaponry and tactics to overpower any who opposed him. He built a totalitarian regime around him, rigid military laws and strict social codes kept his empire running like a well oiled machine. Slod, on the other hand, was a scholar of nature. His settlements were built in vast forests, harnessing the power and magic of nature. With the aid of great beasts and powerful sorcery, he swept through the lands, conquering all before him. The empire of Bruzura had control of the western plateaus and the empire of Slodar the eastern forests, and eventually they met, two great forces, where the Ohethi plains met the Bay of Dashe, and they an epic battle was fought. The two armies battled for ten days, and on that tenth day, Bruza and Slod met in the epic final battle, the determination of the ultimate winner. Bruza wielded two great swords, a towering giant of a man honed in many years of battle. Against him was Slod, dressed in his shamanic robes, great wells of magic at his disposal. Their fight was epic, Slod unleashed waves of beasts upon Bruza, who slew them one by one, undeterred. Bruza finally pushed through, and met Slod face to face. He struck a mighty blow, knocking Slod back, mortally wounding him. Convinced in his victory, Bruza turned away, only to have Slod unleash a torrent of pure magic, annihilating them both. Each side lost innumerable casualties that day, and each staggered home, wary of starting another great war. They remained this way, in an uneasy truce, for two hundred years. As smaller nations rose and fell around them, each Empire persisted, harboring in their corners of Ohethi, waiting for the next aggression to spark the second great war.

So... should I be deleting one of these threads?

I'd either make slod come in with less counters or have it cost more mana and maybe add "activate this ability only anytime you could cast a sorcery"

Epochalyptik this is the third thread, the other two can be deleted.

shadow63 I want it to have the ability to activate on an opponent's turn, to fit with his lore of being able to use his magic to block attacks.

The cards seem fine to me, but the flavour text on Bruza is super boring and is basically just a reiteration of the card's name. I would strongly suggest trying to find something more interesting to say about him.
