this is the story of venedin : the races on venedin thrived . the merfolk , faeries , humans , elementals , ephreets , and elves lived in semi harmony . but a deep corruption , in the fabric of the plane forms , bringing back yawgmoth , with a spark , lord of the wastes . wishing to see this lord , liliana planeswalks to venedin . ajani , after meeting with gisa , realises that no necromancer except liliana can truly resurrect one . ajani follows liliana , wishing to save elsepth .

so how do you guys like the idea ?

What are the mechanics? What cards do you have? Show us something aside from a setting. This is your 3rd thread in 2 weeks, and you haven't stuck with any of them.

Also, what is it with you and wanting to bring back Yawgmoth? I'm pretty sure he's dead for good.

This isn't really the place to repeatedly pitch your set ideas and then abandon them. One of the most common suggestions you get is to develop the idea more before presenting it to all of us. Could you please try that?

Aside from that, the critique I've got from this brief description is that the creatures you chose don't split amongst the color pie very well. You've got an over-representation of Blue, which shouldn't ever get the most creatures.

Merfolk; Blue

Faeries; Blue, black

Humans; White, sometimes red/green

Elementals; 5 color

Efreets; Blue, sometimes red

Elves; Green

Yawgmoth is dead, dead, dead, deadity-dead, corpseified, living in Hades, biting the dust, eating with Satan, 6 feet under, etc. It's NOT going to happen. Shit, the...thing took the full fucking force of the legacy weapon, powered up by a source of white mana so massive that it puts our sun to shame, something that isn't even represented on the card. He's dead and gone, and they aren't going to bring him back (sadly, I really feel like he's the best villain in all of MTG).

Epochalyptik, can't you do something about this?

@CharlesMandore: What exactly am I supposed to do about what?

I presumed this is something you would throw away, due to the other comments. I seem to be wrong.
