I know that red and black are the colors of temporary mana acceleration (i.e., Dark Ritual and Seething Song ), whereas green is the color of permanent mana acceleration (i.e., Rampant Growth or Explosive Vegetation ), but I still believe that a green version of Dark Ritual would be great, so here is such a card:

What does everyone think of this card? Do you like it?

Try Gaea's Touch , it's the closest thing to a green ritual that already exists.

I think maybe taking into account the cost of Dark Ritual would be nice, so making the mana cost instead. This would make it more similar to Pyretic Ritual and Desperate Ritual . Just so it keeps Dark Ritual ahead compared to this card, and also doesn't let you increase your mana to quickly in a color that benefits from lots of mana.

Dark Ritual is not modern legal because it was never printed in a modern legal set. It's not banned. It's legal in legacy and vintage. It was banned in Extended, in the year 2000. And in Historic, with the Strixhaven Mystical Archives version. But nowhere else.
However, it is a crazy good card that can skip you two turns ahead if you use it well, and there's no need for more of those effects, in different colors, that would be able to make vastly different uses out of 3 mana on turn 1. Generally, I'd say it's a bad idea for colors that can cast Manamorphose . Silly solitaire decks will ensue, going off on turn 1 with both mana and cards to keep going, stuff like that is why Gitaxian Probe is banned or restricted everywhere.

Why do you "still believe a green version of Dark Ritual would be great" against all the factors you mentioned?
I like the name, but I don't think the effect needs to exist
