Another one. Thoughts? Suggestions? Personally, I think it's more balanced and color-appropriate than Volcanic Behemoth, but you tell me.
Because Primeval Titan is already at the top end of any deck that would want to run it. There's no reason for any deck to run this on top of it.

Falcoshin: commander decks would use this since Primeval Titan is banned.

RedPowerRanger9001 And this will get banned for the same reason.

Falcoshin - Except this is nowhere near as broken as Prime Time.

Falcoshin: not necessarily. titan gets lands immediately, and is not limited to basics. thats huge in a format like commander.

I think the major issue I can see is the cost reduction that effectively makes it possible to cast a green creature with very green abilities without spending green mana...
If the cost reduction was it would be more acceptable but still strange. The best would be a cost reduction. By the time you have that amount of power on creatures, you should be able to find 3x green.

That's kind of the point of the cards, I think it would be cool to include in decks that don't necessarily run green, to get some extra ramp.

Fair enough, so your idea is that; because you do something that green has an affinity for or a color identity marker - such as have large creatures - you can bypass the exact need for green mana if you happen to appease that affinity through a different mean?
I can dig that.
It might not sit as well for the color pie, but I can appreciate it.

Tzefick - Yeah, I just wanted to kind of flip the color pie upside down and make some powerful creatures that don't necessarily need to be just in one format or one color, they can be used whenever, sort of like the Pacts or Phyrexian mana.

well considering that this would really only be played in commander, the deck would still have to run green at least partially, in their commanders color identity.

I’d say if this was legal, mtg goldfish would do an against the odds landfall, go 2/3, and the card would be forgotten by pros but become a landfall/ mono green commmander staple.

Why would I play this when I can just play Primeval Titan ?
