Forgotten Ancient is a great card, but I wish to see that effect on a legendary creature, so that it can be used as a general in an EDH deck, so I have created such a card, as seen, here:
Vitaverdi, Ancient One Show
First, I made this creature multicolored, to provide players with greater options when building an EDH deck.
Second, I gave it trample and higher starting power, because I feel that Forgotten Ancient is underpowered by today's standards (although that does not mean that it is weak by any measure).
Third, I changed its final ability from a triggered ability to an activated ability, to allow its controller to have greater freedom when using it, using the ability of Daghatar the Adamant as a model.
Also, the word "vita" means "life" in Latin and "verdi" means "green," so "Vitaverdi" means "green life;" I know that that name is not particularly imaginative, but I wished to spend more creativity on the card itself than on its name.
What does everyone else think of this card? Do you like it?

It is a fine card, great in counter-doubling strategies with Hardened Scales and its ilk. Pretty nice commander. I think it is a bit overshadowed by other options that exist like Ghave, Guru of Spores, but it is nice legendary card.
