namename

land

tap add red

namename enters the battlefield tapped.

when name name enters the battlefield, you may untap it. if you do, scry 1, then tap it.

name

land

tap you may add mana to your mana pool. you may not spend this mana. if you do, tap all lands you control after you cast your next spell, then scry 1.

name name name

land

tap target creature gets haste for each other creature you control, then loses trample.

tap target permanent that has the same name as a creature you control becomes an artifact in addition to its other types (this effect lasts indefinitely)

untap tap 4 target lands you control, then draw a card.

1) Is weird and kinda unnecessary.

2) This is absurdly broken as all you need to do is tap out and and float all your mana.

3) This one is also a little weird and awkwardly stated. It might be powerful, but the grammar has me tripping around the words.

First one is a better mountain, a bit strange but not overly powerful.

Second one is Mishra's Workshop for everything, seems fair.

Third one is just strange. The first ability makes no sense, second ability makes sense but seems to be chosen completely randomly, third one seems fine. Except for the infinite combo, you know.

The first one is...what? An upside for having it come into play untapped?

Second one is...3 mana for anything. You can just tap all your lands, then tap this and you can cast anything and get a scry. Mishra's Workshop is broken for a reason and that has some limits.

The third one...what? Multiple instances of haste? Randomly becoming an artifact? And you can tap tapped cards for the last effect to draw your deck from 1 land.

okay, I made some changes. they're fixed now.

March 25, 2016 7:37 p.m.

"You may not spend this mana"

Wat

Third card still combo's infinitely with itself.

March 25, 2016 7:40 p.m.

@FAMOUSWATERMELON how so?

the tapping is part of a cost, so it really doesnt...

March 25, 2016 7:53 p.m.

Because you can target lands that are already tapped. Then just tap it for mana, untap to draw a card, draw your deck and you get enough to cast Spaghettis three times off.

To fix it, just say "tap four untapped lands".

@FAMOUSWATERMELON lets take the example of Springleaf Drum. do you assume that you can tap an already tapped creature with its ability to produce the mana?

March 25, 2016 8:48 p.m.

No, because it says "tap an untapped creature". You card currently does not. The key word being untapped.

oh, didnt see that.

okay fine. whatever. you all knew what I meant

anywho, I thought of ANOTHER CARD!

nermnerm - 0

instant

when you cast this spell, set the storm count to 5

if this spell would resolve, return it to its owner's hand instead

if this spell would not resolve, set the storm count to 0

storm

I just want all of you to think about that card. really hard.

March 25, 2016 9:06 p.m. Edited.

I know what you mean by Storm count, but I don't believe such a thing exists until the spell with storm is cast. It also gives you infinite mana with any ritual, which goes to infinite storm and infinite of any spell you have in your hand.

It's an interesting design though.

well, more card thoughts

this card counts as a permanent.

this card is not a creature.

1/1

March 25, 2016 10:28 p.m.

Why? Why is that even a thing. It's just a little random and weird. When would that be useful?

I thought of another "card"?

instant

Wasn't that kinda the point of phasing to begin with

No... No! I can fix them... I shall rise as the new Dark Confidant the Builder!

1 Namename

: add to your mana pool.

You may have namename enter the battlefield tapped. If you do, scry 1.

2 Name

: to your mana pool. Tap all lands you control, empty your mana pool and exile all spells you control. If you cast a spell this turn before activating this ability, you lose the game. Scry 1.

3 Name Name Name

: Target creature gains haste and loses trample.

: Target creature becomes an arifact in addition to its other types if it shares a name with another permanent you control.

Untap, tap 4 untapped lands you control: Draw a card.

++++++++++++++++

I know this defeats the weirdness aspect, but I felt compelled to fix it.
