I had an idea!
Master Manipulator (3)(B)(B)
Legendary Creature - Human Wizard
(B)(B): Tap: Gain control of target creature until end of turn unless it's controller pays X where X is the creatures converted mana cost. Untap it.
1/2
sorry i read that waaay to fast, but still no i mean mana is usually easy to have in longer games of edh. you pay 6 to keep your 6 cost creature. not that big of a deal.

Also I think you mean U as U is the color indicator for and not B because that is black .

Yes I noticed that right after I posted it and I don't know how to edit it.

Another thing, while temporary control is definitely within Blue's wheelhouse, the ability feels a little more Red. I like the idea that someone is trying to take control of you via your emotions, but you have the ability to resist it magically.

If this cost like, 1 to cast, then yeah, I'd play it. If this is a Blue spell however, then no, there's much better things I could be doing with a mono blue general. Like Talrand, Sky Summoner, for instance.

There are also better creature stealing commanders in mono blue out there. If it was a one drop then yes.

Oh, wait, this thing taps for it's ability.
If it cost to cast from the command zone every time, I'd think about playing it. It just seems like it isn't actually doing anything, after reading it over fully.
