I got 8th with the Bug control from states, I lost because of a miscalculation against GR aggro with a bloodrush when I could have easily just killed a creature and given myself the extra turn

i ended up walking over the field until the final game and my deck puked all over me, first game could not get a mountain out of the deck for anything, second game, nice starting hand, 2 land 2 Strangleroot Geist two Arbor Elf , one Vexing Devil and a Domri Rade top decked round two and three into two more domri's round four top decked Thundermaw Hellkite then top decked Wolfir Silverheart ,
looking across the board at a paired of Dreg Mangler with Rancor and a second Deadbridge Goliath hitting the table, I did manage to drag him down to 4 life before finally losing. But really it was a futile effort and i knew i had lost in round 5 when i top decked wolfir. ended up losing to a deck a had dispatched earlier in the day without much effort, it was frustrating.

I too got second. Lol playing Cedric Phillips Jund Aggro. Got beat out cuz I kept a bad hand against GR aggro
