3rd place Overall SuperIQ need to improve
Deck Help forum

So I played this list: deck:jungle-hijinx-and-other-shennanigans-jund-aggro at a super IQ (minus some SB alterations). I think if I had more time to play and fine tune it, it could have done better, I threw it together this morning. I smashed every delver list I faced but I cannot seem to overcome 1 deck and 1 card: UW Midrange and Wurmcoil Engine . I need some help for improving the main and side a bit more. I appreciate any input and will return the favor on your deck if you ask.
man i wish i ever played that good :/ And what's Super IQ? Ulvenwald Tracker or Daybreak Ranger Flip are some possible options for delver mid range. Can't think of anything.

Massacre Wurm also hoses delver pretty badly, one sided board wiping and taking out a chunk of their life

WTF is U/W Mid-range that isn't a Delver deck?
For Wurmcoil Engine , Into the Core is hit or miss. There have to be at least two Artifacts on the board for you to even cast it. If one of them is yours, you could just dealing more damage to yourself.
Glissa, the Traitor is one of the best creatures to deal with it. You could also just try copying it to nullify its effects.

Sam Black has developed a U/W Midrange deck without Delver, and took it to second place at the World Magic Cup Qualifier in St. Louis recently.

Delver was my BEST match-up. My deck was a delver slayer, 2-0'd most of them went 2-1 against the ass player because he drew 4 Blade Splicer s within the first 7 (his) turns on game 2.
Dritz: might not be a terrible idea, it is just I need to hit 2 artifacts, the tokens blow a bit, but the in-tact one is worse. I need to answer that fast as soon as it hits. I added in a some new tech in the deck recently, hopefully I will not have this problem too much longer, I should be able to Doom Blade /Ancient Grudge and tap 7 and hard cast a Bonfire of the Damned at worst.
Jewrummer: Massacre Wurm was definitely considered, I completely love that card, I just hate the triple black cost with so few black sources. Again, delver was my easiest match-up, I am not too worried about that, it is the bigger threats that get me.
zandl: Glissa, the Traitor : was always countered or killed immediately, I think she would still be good in the deck, I just need to work her back in as a two of. I recently added two Wolfir Avenger in her place because of the regen and flash.
I'll update the list soon with my recent changes. I still do appreciate suggestions for improving the list and answering my problem cards. Thank you all.

I too was part of the camp that didn't know what UW Midrange was. More sweepers? card:Black Sun's Zenith and Blasphemous Act both do a respectable Day of Judgment impersonation. Bonfire of the Damned is also pretty insane when miracle and as you mentioned not completely horrible when hardcast

Alright, updated with current list, I still want to fit Glissa, the Traitor back in. How does it look?

Leyline of Sanctity and/or Witchbane Orb ? Sorin Markov and Mindslaver could easily be game-over in one turn from any amount of life.

I don't have any immediate suggestions for UW Midrange matchups but how about Into the Core against those pesky Wurmcoil Engines?
