so far i have Liliana of the Dark Realms , Liturgy of Blood , Grim Return ,Duress , thoughseize, by the way i want to make a devotion to black/control/mana exleration. i ca not find creatures that help my deck

devotion = # of symbols in CMC of a specific color.
Like how Nightveil Specter has 3 hybrid U/B, he contributes both 3 U and 3 B.
*U = blue, * B = black, just in case.
Mono-black consists basically of the things Yeroc68 said with Thoughtseize and a punch of other removal spells like Hero's Downfall .

Count the black mana symbols in their CMC. That much. Colorless mana do not count.
