A more aggressive control deck?

Deck Help forum

I've been working on my W/U control deck, Azorius Inquisition and I'm almost done collecting all the cards I need to complete the decklist. One problem does stand out to me: since this is control, I try to win in the late game with a big flier. Namely, Isperia, Supreme Judge . Before I get to my 6th turn, there's plenty of countering and exiling, but not too much of a chance to deal damage. I have Dungeon Geists and Divine Deflection as possible sources of damage before Isperia shows face. And what if Isperia gets destroyed? I have no other way to win besides possibly milling the opponent out with Jace, Memory Adept . Should I incorporate more mill cards like Mind Sculpt and possibly Psychic Spiral as another win condition? I don't want to radically change the decklist I have, but I really should address this problem. Banking on one creature to win isn't too wise. Let me know if you can help!

and please just don't say, "why aren't you playing Angel of Serenity ? That card is better than Isperia." if you want to buy me a $23 card, be my guest.

If you want to proctect Isperia, Supreme Judge , why don't you use more counters? Maybe... just focus a little bit more on counter whatever threats your killer card.

cards like Frost Titan protect themselves to an extent, why not run something with hexproof if you're scared isperia won't survive? Geist of Saint Traft , Lone Revenant or an equipped Invisible Stalker might do the trick.

or... seeing as it's UW control, you could sneak in a few copies of Rest in Peace to combo with Misthollow Griffin . it disrupts graveyard based strategies, that can prove considerably troublesome for a deck that can't double it's resources the way a zombie deck does with cards like Gravecrawler or how a junk deck would with cards like Lingering Souls and Unburial Rites , and it would mean that your griffin could keep coming back every time it gets killed to beat and block as you please... just an idea. you could lose Snapcaster Mage in your maybeboard because you have this potent countermeasure against decks that would use the card, definitely leveling the playing field...
