I am going to my friends house tomorrow and need some deck ideas that I can work with because I am out of creative juices. Most of my rares are what I have in my binder and you don't need to give me a deck list, it would be nice if you could but I really just need ideas. I would really like to maybe work with grixis or burning vengeance. I even thought about zombies but Thank You All.
Make a deck based on Melira, Sylvok Outcast. Put phyrexian hydra, etched monstrosity. Black suns. Just abuse her.

Maybe we can help each other out. I've been working on fitting the Knowledge Pool + Curse of Exhaustion combo into a Birthing Pod deck. This decklist is the basic shell:
deck:exhausted-pod
The idea is simple. You pod out creatures (Treasure Mage and Bitterheart Witch) to fetch the combo pieces, then trade in one of your 1-cmc mana dorks for a Grand Abolisher giving you a safe opportunity to cast the game-clenching Knowledge Pool.
Right now the problem is that this deck suffers if you don't have a Birthing Pod. I am thinkng I should lean more heavily on blue to provide counterspell support and to use Ponder or Think Twice to make the deck more consistent. If you like the idea let me know what you would do to tweak it.

There are plenty of Artifacts just dying to have their own decks. Grindclock + Lux Cannon + Contagion Engine + Grand Architect = Good.

my buddy is making a deck. Unwinding Clock with Pristine Talismans and lifelink creatures. Gonna be interesting, thats for sure.

Planes walker control variants are really strong right now. A GBW walker ramp deck actually took 9th this weekend at the SCG open.
