I'm looking to speed up my Dan Brown who? Never heard of him... deck, and one consideration I'm making is replacing 2x Angel of Serenity with 2x Angel of Jubilation . I just want to make sure, though, that if I have a Desecration Demon out, or I cast one with the Angel of Jubilation , that my opponent(s) will still have the option to sacrifice creatures to avoid the demon(s) for a turn.
Last I recall, an activated ability is one that has a colon in it, and since Desecration Demon does not; my opponent sacrificing a creature is therefore not activating an ability to tap my demon...correct?
Epochalyptik says... #2
Correct. Triggered abilities begin with the words when, whenever, or at and have no colon. Desecration Demon has a triggered ability.
