Bant - States: Help requested

With states quickly approaching, I've been working on refining a few ideas for my metagame; ranging from jund/junk.netdeck to bant flash and hexproof, to a janky 4c control. They've done well and have been relatively consistent, (the exception being bant hexproof - hit or miss in my experiences), but it just doesn't feel right.
States are quickly approaching and, to be perfectly honest, I will likely not be taking home 1st place. I have strong players in my area, many of which I can frequently go toe-to-toe with, but usually edge me out because they either rip the right cards, or just flat out make better decisions than I do. I thoroughly enjoy deck building, but have found that I fall into a typical trap when I put my lists together - I get hung up on 'cool' interactions and lose sight of the goal in whatever deck I'm building.
I have swallowed my pride and now I turn to you, the community, for help. Above is my not-so-short list of cards which I would enjoy playing with. I'm looking to have a good time with a deck that I can reasonably expect to go X-2 or X-3 with in Bant colors (lands will fall into place once I move to my short list). 1-ofs are cards I feel could be reasonable additions, where 2s and above are cards I believe should be my core focus. The goals: consistent, reasonably powerful and the ability to interact with my opponent.
Yes, I know, Geist of Saint Traft is a perfect curve topper for me, but I just don't have access to them at the moment (also at that point I may as well play Bant Hexproof and cross my fingers). I would ask that any criticism, or suggestions, are in line with Bant colors and that you are harsh in your critiques - this is still states we're talking about.

Several people have approached me and I have felt the need to clarify my goal with this list. I am looking to cut the vast majority of the cards that are present on the list - that's where you all come in (I hope) :]
